Nina's roses are beautiful!

The Friends of the Hailey Public Library Garden Tour is a popular annual summer event which will take place on Saturday June 28, from 10AM-2PM. In years past, the popular Friends’ Tour has offered garden lovers a chance to do more than peek over the hedges and through the fences to see the very best gardens in Old Hailey, China Gardens, Della View and Indian Creek. Building on a very successful tour of Northridge gardens in June 2007, the Friends’ committee has ferreted out a slate of eight exciting gardens for us to visit this year in the Deerfield area, specifically on Quigley Lane, Quigley Road, Deerwood Drive, Whitetail Drive and Deertrail Drive.

For only $15, each ticket holder will be transformed from snooper to invited guest, plied with planting information, supplied with ideas for decreasing water use and increasing habitat for wild birds, creating outdoor living spaces, working with the challenges of shade and topography. Each garden will be uniquely beautiful and, equally importantly, each will offer useable ideas and inspirations to take home to your own private Idaho.

Gardens will be accessorized with musicians, artists and wonderful items available by purchase of raffle tickets. Best of all, the money raised will be used by the Friends to purchase special items for the Hailey Public Library. Tickets will be available for purchase at a kiosk on Quigley Road on the day of the tour.
